WHO WE ARE

The University Stores are independently owned and operated by Carnegie Mellon University. We strive to serve our community with products and services to support the University's mission of collaboration and creativity. Located in the Cohon University Center, the stores sell a variety of products including branded clothing and gifts, art and stationery supplies, and technology. Stop by on your next visit to campus or place your order for CMU merch online.

ORDERS

SHIPPING

We process online orders for shipping Monday through Friday. Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing during normal times; during busy periods, processing may take longer. Our standard shipping method is UPS Ground, with options for UPS Expedited (2-Day Air) and UPS Overnight Air for domestic shipments. We ship via UPS or USPS depending on the recipient's location, and international shipments are considered on a case-by-case basis. DEPARTMENT ORDERS

Departments that wish to place remote orders should email [email protected] with the following information: items you'd like to order (quantity and SKU if available), oracle string number, and shipping address (you may ship to multiple addresses). Department orders with multiple 'ship to' addresses will be shipped through Tartan Ink (UPS service). Shipping charges will originate from Tartan Ink and they will provide tracking information to the department.

Directions:

The store can be accessed through exterior doors facing the Walking to the Sky statue or through the Cohon University Center's 1st floor main entrances. The Art Store, Tech Store, and general supplies are located on the basement level of the Cohon University Center.

Parking:

The closest parking available is the East Campus Garage, located next to the Cohon University Center. There is also metered street parking available on campus.

SERVICES

Gift Certificates

You can purchase gift certificates in set increments online.
Certificates will be delivered digitally by email and include a printable presentation card. If you'd like to purchase a certificate for a different amount than what is offered online please call us at 412-268-1032 or visit us in-store during normal business hours. We do offer shipping on gift certificates for a flat rate of $5 per shipping address (we ship using certified mail with tracking information).

If a certificate is partially used, we will issue a new reference number for the remaining balance. Lost or stolen certificates will not be reissued. Items returned to the store that were purchased with a gift certificate will be refunded to a new certificate.

Custom Orders

Returns & Exchanges

The University Stores welcomes returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt and tags attached on most items. For full details please review our Return Policy.
