The University Stores are proud to be a part of the Scotty Goes Green initiative at Carnegie Mellon University. Scotty Goes Green encourages departments to adopt green practices in their offices to create a more eco-conscious campus.

OUR PART

We are currently working on level SILVER,
where we're focusing on projects like -


  • Introduce sustainability initiatives in staff meetings.
  • Replacing power strips with "smart" power strips wherever possible.
  • Hosting sustainability-related events.
  • Make sure each work area has a desk-side paper recycling bin.
