Q: Where can I purchase my textbooks?

A: You can either purchase your textbooks at the KCKCC Bookstore located at the main campus (7250 State Ave. Kansas City, KS 66112) or on our Bookstore website – www.kckccbookstore.edu *You will need your schedule to complete this process, as everything you need to select your textbooks will come from this.

Q: What are your store hours?

A: Please check the “Store Hours” tab under the Bookstore information tab.

Q: When is the best time to buy my books?

A: During the 2 weeks before classes start is best. This will allow you to access our store when the lines aren’t nearly as long.

Q: How do I get my books? Do you get them for me?

A: If you order them online, we do get your books for you and ship them to you. If you come into our store, it is self-service. We are here to assist you through this process!

Q: How do I know what textbooks to get from my schedule?

A: Look for your department name (i.e. Biology would be BIOL) Next, look at your course number (it will be the 4 digit number next to your department name, i.e. BIOL “0141”). Then, make sure to select your correct section number (the section number will be the 2 or 3 digit number after your course number, i.e. BIOL 0141 – “01”).

Q: Can I use my financial aid online?

A: Yes, if you have been awarded money through the financial aid office then you can select that as your tender when you check out with your order. If you are purchasing your books in-store with financial aid, then you will need a student ID.

Q: Do you have used textbooks available?

A: We carry both used and new textbooks. We source as many used textbooks as we can get, but some books don’t come as used due to new editions, access codes, or teacher requests.
