Student Gown Rental and Grad Pack Information

Important Dates for Fall 2018

Official UC Davis commencement apparel consists of a custom UC Davis gown, cap, and tassel. All other available accessories are optional. Please see the links below for rental and pack pricing.

• September 3 – Online rental begins for students participating in the December ceremony.
• November 1 – Pre-order deadline – Undergraduates
• Rental pricing increases $15 after this date.
• December 5–14 – Cap and Gown Distribution – Campus Store, Lower Level, 9 a.m.–5:45 p.m.
• December 15 – Last minute on-site gown pickup – Gown Tent at the Pavilion, 8–10 a.m.

Gown and Hood Return

The collection station for student gowns will be located in the plaza between the Pavilion and the ARC, approximately ½ hour before the end of the ceremony until approximately 1 hour afterward. Gowns not returned either after the ceremony or to the Campus Store by the Monday following the ceremony weekend will be subject to late return fee, beginning at $5 and increasing by $5 each week.
