Return Policy

Textbooks

Textbooks, rental texts, and eBooks are returnable for a full refund five calendar days from the start of the term accompanied with a valid sales receipt and they must be in saleable condition. After the first week of classes, if you purchase a textbook, you will only have 1 day in which to return it along with a valid receipt. Dropping a class after all this? Call for the bookstore for the return date for dropped classes. You will need to provide the dropslip and a valid receipt.


Course materials are nonrefundable when:

  1. Bought during finals
  2. Without a receipt
  3. Shrink wraps & packages are not returnable when opened
  4. Seals broken on software
  5. Water-damaged or wet
  6. eBook has been downloaded
  7. Rentals returned after refund deadlines

NO REFUNDS will be given to any special packaged textbooks with access codes, discs, recorded cassettes, or with bundled materials. NO REFUNDS will be given on custom published materials (lecture notes, course readers).


New books returned in substandard condition are refunded as a used book less 25%, when accompanied by a valid sales receipt. This includes writing your name in text.


General Reading Books, Clothing, Software, & Supplies

Are returnable five calendar days from the date of purchase with a valid receipt, substandard merchandise will not be accepted for a refund. Items that are shrink wrapped or in a sealed package must be unopened. All sales merchandise is nonrefundable.


After five calendar days we are able to offer an exchange at the store for a different item with a receipt. Item must be of equal or greater value of exchanged item. If item is greater customer is able to pay the difference.


Online Purchases

When returning textbooks or general merchandise for a refund that have been purchased online and that meet the above return guidelines, please include the original packing slip along with the items you are returning, wrap the package securely, and ship to the address below. Please note the reason for your return. Be sure to use a traceable means and record the tracking number for future reference since we cannot be responsible for lost returns.

Digital Textbook Returns

We understand that customers may want to return a digital book for a refund because of various reasons. Because there is no physical product, digital books may not be returned to the bookstore once the title is activated. This means refunds are not available for activated digital books. Please contact the bookstore if you need assistance with any technical difficulties related to your digital book order. We will replace the digital book file if you encounter technical problems during the download.
